The Role Permanent, Part Time Cleaner and Courier. 30 hours per week (6 hour shifts), Monday Friday 8:30am 3:00pm. You Will Be Responsible For Ensure appropriate cleaning standards are maintained throughout RCH Mental Health Travancore campus. Cleaning experience required; duties include vacuuming, mopping, dusting, use of industrial chemicals and equipment, rubbish removal, cleaning of bathroom amenities and kitchen areas, ordering cleaning stock, and some outdoor cleaning. Be consistent with Infection Control guidelines, policy and Cleaning Standards for Victorian Health Facilities. Experience in safe usage of chemicals. Vehicle delivery and pickup of items for RCH mental health office locations in a safe and timely manner (training provided). Vehicle provided full drivers licence required. Duties include driving an automatic company fleet vehicle between outpatient sites and other supplier locations; transport of RCH equipment; and general courier tasks (mail, stores items, medical records, computer equipment, etc.). Classification Classification for this position will be JJ9 $53,508.00 per annum pro rata, plus superannuation. What Youll Achieve Commitment to service excellence. Ability to establish and maintain good working relationships within a diverse team. Clean internal buildings and external areas in accordance with Victorian Health Facility cleaning standards. Your Skills And Experience Demonstrated previous cleaning experience in commercial, hospital or office environments. Office environment (non-clinical) and not located at the main hospital building. Knowledge and experience of infection control principles and procedures; ability to safely handle commercial chemicals (essential). Clean and current full drivers license for the State of Victoria (up to 1.25 tonnes) essential. Basic computer skills, well-developed written and verbal communication, and strong customer service (essential). Ability to work closely with Environmental Service Officers, share workload and communicate effectively to achieve results. About The Department RCH Mental Health comprises hospital-based (Parkville) and community services, including multidisciplinary outpatient teams based at Travancore, Sunshine/Brimbank and Tarneit.
