OverviewAt Amity Lawyers, we support individuals, families, and businesses in navigating the Australian immigration process with clarity and confidence. We are seeking an experienced Immigration Lawyer or Registered Migration Agent (RMA) with at least 3 years of migration case management experience to join our team as our practice grows.This role involves providing high-quality migration advice and managing a broad range of visa matters, including employer-sponsored, skilled, partner, and family visas, as well as assisting with more complex matters such as visa refusals and cancellations, merits review, and court proceedings.We are looking for a motivated, client-focused professional who is committed to delivering practical, compliant, and outcome-driven migration solutions.ResponsibilitiesConduct client interviews to provide accurate, strategic advice on visa options and migration pathwaysPrepare and manage Skills Assessments, Sponsorships, Nominations, and Visa ApplicationsManage a diverse caseload efficiently while maintaining compliance and professional standardsBuild and maintain strong client relationships through face-to-face meetings, phone calls, and email communicationMonitor legislative, regulatory, and procedural changes and ensure timely updates to affected clients and mattersQualificationsA Bachelor''s degree or higher qualificationMinimum 3 years of experience in immigration law or migration practiceStrong knowledge of a range of visa subclasses, including skilled and employer sponsorships, family type visas, visa cancellations, ART appeals, and judicial review mattersDemonstrated experience in obtaining client instructions, conducting client meetings, and building strong, trusting relationships to ensure a smooth and positive client experience throughout the engagementExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate professionally and confidently via phone and email with a diverse client baseA people-oriented approach with a genuine interest in sharing migration knowledge and tailoring communication to suit both subject-matter experts and clientsDemonstrated ability to manage a caseload effectively and meet agreed performance targets and KPIs while maintaining high standards of client serviceA compassionate and empathetic approach when working with clients, with the ability to understand and respond sensitively to individual circumstancesStrong interpersonal skills and professionalism, with a commitment to delivering high-quality client service in a client-facing environmentBilingual skills are not essential, but will be considered a strong advantageWhat We OfferCompetitive salary: $80,000 $100,000 per annum + Super (commensurate with experience)A supportive and collaborative work environmentOpportunity to work closely with experienced professionals on a wide range of migration mattersHow to ApplyTo apply, please submit:Your current resume, andTwo refereesPlease email your application to [email protected] with the subject line:"Application for Lawyer/Registered Agent Position"Please note: We do not accept unsolicited resumes from recruitment agencies.
