To this end, we are currently looking for Music teachers to work on a casual basis throughout the academic year.What You Will DoTeach Music to girls in years 7 to 12, and according to the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA) curriculum and Dalton principles of responsibility, independence, collaboration and reflectionEnsure the knowledge, understanding and success of each studentUse an innovative curriculum via the school Learning Management System (CANVAS)Use formative and summative assessment to determine student progressCreate a stimulating classroom environment where students can flourishAssist other members of the department and share resourcesAssist with the supervision of excursions after hours as requiredOther duties as directed by the Head of Music.What You Will BringA tertiary qualification in teachingAccreditation to teach in NSW with the NSW Education Standards Authority (NESA)Ability to differentiate for a diverse group of non-selective students and teach to the strengths of girlsAbility to teach Music to HSC levelsDemonstrated excellence in communication and writing skillsProven ICT skills within an environment where students bring a personal device to schoolWell-developed time management and organisational skillsWillingness to continue to develop as a teacherA current First Aid and CPR CertificateA valid Working with Children clearance.Interested?Further information, including a position description for this role is available at this sounds like you, please apply via SEEK no later than 11.59pm on Monday 16 February 2026.
