We have over 60 years of manufacturing expertise across a vast range of cables covering Automotive, Building, Switchboard, Mining, Irrigation and specialised sectors for the Australian and International markets.About the OpportunityThe Finance Lead role is an exciting new role in a growing business which will focus on the commercial finance aspects of the Tyree Cable operations. Reporting to the Financial Controller, the Financial Lead key responsibilities include:In consultation with senior managers monitor relevant business financial metrics on a regular basis including margin and cash flowDevelopment of the business unit budget in consultation with the Financial ControllerCoordination with the Financial Controller on monthly reporting and forecastingPerform regular accounting reconciliations to ensure accuracy and integrity of financial recordsAssist with payroll processing to ensure accurate and timely employee paymentsThe management of commercial considerations for the business unit including pricing and customer contractual obligationsAssist with preparations for internal and external auditsConduct regular product costing reviews to ensure ERP data is correct and currentLead the management of finished goods inventory in consultation with sales and operationsActive participation in the invoicing and accounts receivable processes to ensure consistent practices and the enforcement of commercial termsQualifications and attributes for successProven experience in finance/accounting in a manufacturing organisationExperience in the management of complex commercial arrangements and pricingStrong interest in foreign exchange and commodity pricesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsA proven ability to work independently and collaboratively with other departments.A bachelor''s degree in finance/business with a major in accounting is requiredA CPA or CA accreditation is highly desirableWhy Join UsA business with a strong brand, significant growth opportunities aligned to the energy transition to nett zero, and a proven product rangeA business which operates solely to support the philanthropic works of the Tyree Foundation including medical research and their national engineering scholarship program across Australia and New Zealand universitiesHigh-performance culture balanced with flexibility, respect, strong team culture all underpinned by family valuesTyree encourages applicants from a diverse range of backgrounds, including First Nations people, people living with disability and people who speak a first language other than English.How to ApplyTo apply please use the link in this advert to apply through Seek.
