AIPC and our staff are passionate about assisting people formalise their natural helping abilities so they can support others to lead happier, healthier lives.Job DescriptionPermanent, Full-TimeAbout the role: The Fieldwork Placement Coordinator will work closely with the Course Coordinator and Program Leader to coordinate quality placements for students undertaking the Bachelor of Social Work. AIPC delivers the Acknowledge Education Bachelor of Social Work; the role is situated in AIPC.ResponsibilitiesLead and manage the student placement program, ensuring high-quality, well-supported placement experiences from commencement to completion.Source, negotiate and maintain placement opportunities by building strong relationships with government and non-government partner agencies.Monitor student progress, assess performance, complete summative assessments, and identify and support students at risk during placements.Develop and deliver student placement briefings, resources and curriculum-aligned materials in collaboration with academic leadership.Maintain placement databases, oversee quality assurance processes, and contribute to continuous improvement through evaluation and reporting.Facilitate communication, mediation and reporting with students, agencies and internal stakeholders, including contractual arrangements and MOUs.QualificationsMaster of Social Work, and 3 years of broad industry experience.WWCC Employee or state equivalentEligibility for membership of the AASW.Experience and skills in the area of fieldwork placement.Recent social work practice experience and an understanding of theory and practice in an Australian context.Relevant tertiary teaching experience, the ability to further develop teaching expertise, and the ability and willingness to use technology for teaching and learning.Additional InformationWhy Join AIPC?Make a real impact in the lives of future counsellorsSupportive team environment with structured onboardingPermanent full-time role with growth opportunitiesWork for a trusted education provider with a national presenceQuestions about your identity help us appreciate the diversity of individuals looking to work with us, ensuring we''re attracting applications from people with identities and perspectives that are as diverse as our students.We are an equal opportunity employer.
