OverviewAn experienced Customer Service officer is sought to support the City of Monash Maternal Child health and Immunisation Service.Position Details4 days per week: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and FridayPermanent part-time position (30.4 hours per week)Salary from $73,465 + Superannuation (Pro rata)Based in the vibrant Glen Waverley precinctApplications close 8 February 2026About The PositionThe Monash Maternal Child Health and Immunisation service (MCH) is situated within the Children Youth and Family Services department. This department has a strong focus on supporting infants, children and families offering innovative service delivery models to meet the needs of a contemporary community. Our customer service officers provide exemplary customer service both over the phone and in person, contributing to the effective delivery of essential services to our vibrant community.About YouWe are seeking candidates who:Provide exemplary customer service both over the phone and in person being able to work within a culturally diverse communitySkilled in Excel, SharePoint and file managementManage customer service tasks including overseeing appointment schedules for a range of serviceAre able to multitask and ensure the smooth operations of the service, working collaboratively as a teamHighly motivated, task orientated, flexible and agile, with demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic service where customer service is a key prioritySkills and ExperienceDemonstrated experience in counter and telephone customer service with excellent people skills and communication skillsStrong customer service focus and understanding of working with a diverse communityExperience in office administration within a Health, community service and/or local government environmentExcellent computer literacy skills including MS Office; experience with maintaining databases and collating reports will be advantageousMultitasking managing phone calls and data entry simultaneouslyIdentify business improvements across MCH and Immunisation programs, providing timely feedback to the Team Leaders, Coordinator or Manager Children, Youth and Family ServicesCurious, collaborative & enthusiastic approach to customer service and communityRequirementsCertificate or Diploma in Health Administration or Business; experience in office administrationPrevious experience working within a high-volume health service, community service and/or local government environmentExperience working within an Immunisation service or Maternal Child Health service preferredValid Driver''s license and use of own carWorking with children''s checkNational Criminal History CheckBenefitsAs a City Of Monash Employee, your personal and professional development is a key focus for us.
