OverviewJoin Cricket VictoriaAre you a skilled storyteller with a passion for sport, media and digital content?Cricket Victoria is on the lookout for a Media & Communications Manager to lead the content, PR and media strategy for the Melbourne Renegades and support our broader communications across the organisation.This is your opportunity to bring the excitement of W/BBL cricket to life, work alongside elite athletes and coaches, and shape how one of the BBL''s biggest clubs shows up in the public eye.The RoleDelivering a year-round integrated content and PR strategy for the Melbourne Renegades across all channelsManaging all media operations, match-day comms, and broadcast liaison during W/BBL seasonActing as a trusted comms advisor to players, coaches and the high-performance teamCreating, curating and publishing compelling social, video and editorial contentOverseeing owned media platforms, including website, EDMs, and all social channelsCollaborating with marketing and commercial teams to support ticket sales, memberships, and fan engagementPreparing social media analytics reports and fulfilling commercial content requirementsAbout You45+ years'' experience in a similar media/communications role, preferably in elite sport or agencyProven track record in media relations, PR strategy, digital content, and brand managementStrong writing skills and ability to tell stories across a range of formats and platformsConfidence working with elite athletes, high-performance teams and media stakeholdersExperience with CMS and VMS platforms (Pulse Live and Brightcove an advantage)Excellent time management and ability to thrive during fast-paced periods like W/BBL seasonWorking With Children Check (Employee)Valid driver''s licence and tertiary qualification in comms/mediaWhy Join Cricket Victoria?Cricket Victoria is one of Australia''s leading sporting organisations and the proud home of Victorian cricket, including the Melbourne Stars and Melbourne Renegades.
