Being the first point of contact for our organisation is an important role - you will be self-confident, possess a positive and proactive attitude and have polished presentation.You will have overall responsibility for the management of our reception area and work closely with all members of our administration team. It''s busy and full of interesting challenges!This is a full-time office-based position, with you working from 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday.Ideal commencement is mid-March, to ensure a thorough handover.This is a parental leave contract for approximately 16 months (until July 2027).Our position has great variety, with duties and responsibilities including but are not limited to:ResponsibilitiesFirst point of contact for visitors, clients and interstate/international staff arriving to the office ensuring all guests are greeted in an appropriate manner.Manage a high volume of telephone, in person and email enquiries.Maintain workplace security with management of access passes; responsibility for database of such, using Gallagher.Additional ad hoc tasks such as troubleshooting of AV systems and workstation setups, allocation of lockers, cab charge records, booking meeting rooms, updating department contact lists, assistance with on/offboarding staff members etc.Willingness to be a key member of a busy, motivated and friendly professional team.Demonstrate knowledge of Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) requirements for the office.Understand and adhere to GHD''s values, codes of conduct and policies.What would you bring to the team?Excellent communication skills with a professional, articulate phone manner.Passion for delivering an exceptional workplace service experienceDemonstrated experience in similar receptionist positions in a busy and professional environmentAbility to provide administrative support with proficiency in MS Office packages including Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook.Outstanding work ethic with a proactive attitude and strong attention to detailAdept at multi-tasking and prioritising workload with the ability to work with minimal supervision.Interested?Apply before COB 17 February.GHD is an equal opportunity employer, and we want everyone to be able to fully participate in our recruitment process.
