We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic customer focused Batcher / Driver to join the Heidelberg team in this full-time role at our Concrete Plant in Blayney, NSW.Are you a self-motivated team player? We are looking for someone who is passionate about safety, results focused with excellent communication skills, a strong work ethic and the ability to multi-task.The Batcher role has excellent career development potential with the opportunity to learn about concrete, quarry materials, plant operation, concrete batching, scheduling, and logistics whilst working in the construction industry.In Your New Role With Us, You Will BeOverseeing the operation of a concrete batch plantOperating a front end loader (FEL) - Don''t worry, we can train you for this!Regularly interacting with customers, taking orders & scheduling deliveriesWorking in a high performing team, collaborating with other local plants to deliver positive outcomes for the business and the customerAble to demonstrate safety and show coach and mentoring potentialEnsure all products adhere to strict quality requirementsMonitoring all plant and equipment, scheduling & conducting maintenance as requiredManaging maintenance & production tasks, which includes some level of manual handlingDelivering concrete to customers (HR licence required)This role is a great fit for you, if you:Have a HR licence (essential)Loader ticket and experience -preferred, but we can train the right person!Are looking for a career change and want to work in the construction industryHave the drive to succeed, can work and without supervisionAre an effective communicator and have a team mentalitySeek a flexible roster that includes Saturday work and reasonable overtimeHold a current Construction Card / White Card or are willing to obtain oneAre able to operate with and support our Zero Harm safety policyCan physically perform all tasks associated with the positionWhat We OfferBase rate of $33.25 - $41.65 per hour plus super, penalty rates and allowancesMonthly RDO accrual and Weekly Pay CycleCompany uniforms and PPE are providedA great, friendly team providing a supportive training environmentBe part of highly recognised global brand name and growing organisationOngoing training and development opportunitiesHeidelberg Materials is an equal opportunity employer, and we welcome people from all walks of life.
