An opportunity Built for you The Head of Design and Drafting (Modular Construction & DfMA Expertise) with a strong background in modular construction precast systems and Design for Manufacture and Assembly (DfMA) methodologies to lead multidisciplinary design teams, coordinate with clients and production teams and deliver innovative costeffective building solutions for largescale commercial residential or infrastructure projects. Heres what a typical day might look like for you Lead the design development of modular and prefabricated building systems ensuring alignment with DfMA principles. Coordinate with the Build Living Technical Team. Oversee the preparation and coordination of shop drawings, BIM models and technical documentation. Collaborate with engineering, production and construction teams to ensure design feasibility and manufacturing efficiency. Drive design optimisation to reduce material waste, improve constructability and accelerate project timelines. Serve as the technical liaison for client consultants and internal stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle. Here are the essentials youll need for this role: 10 years of experience in structural or architectural design with at least 3 years in a leadership or management role. Strong project management and clientfacing skills. Background in civil or structural engineering preferred; licensure is a plus.
