You will work directly with experienced leaders and for well-known brands, with supervision and accelerated development on offer within our fast-growing business.Your day-to-day responsibilities will include Leading stamp duty review, analysis and quantification across property, corporate and M&A transactions.Advise on state and territory duty legislation, highlighting risks and opportunities in complex structures.Support tax due diligence with duty modelling and clear risk commentary.Review and guide transaction documentation to ensure correct duty treatment and efficient outcomes.Work with clients, advisors and revenue authorities to resolve duty positions and obtain rulings.Contribute to deal structuring (including FIRB-related inputs and funds flow) with practical stamp duty advice.QualificationsYou''re someone who is passionate about Stamp Duty, with experience either working in a Big 4, Legal or respected mid-tier organisation. You''ll also ideally have the following experience and skills -Significant experience advising on stamp duty for property, corporate, restructuring and M&A transactions.Handson involvement in tax due diligence, including identifying risks and assessing exemptions/relief (e.g. corporate reconstruction).Strong document review capability across SPAs, trust deeds, restructure steps and funding documents.Confidence with engaging state revenue authorities (rulings, objections, clarifications).Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical issues into commercial advice for clients.Effective stakeholder management skills and the ability to work independently across fastpaced transaction timelines.Your Journey at A&MAt A&M we pride ourselves on being more than just a workplace.
