Job Description

We are seeking a highly professional and composed Corporate Receptionist to join our Sydney office.The ideal candidate will excel in prioritising and problem-solving under pressure, demonstrating punctuality, reliability, and exceptional organisational skills with a keen attention to detail. We are looking for someone with a strong client focus, maintaining confidentiality at all times. You will have a proven ability to communicate effectively and work cohesively within a high-performing team.The reception team alternate week-to-week across two shifts, week A (8:00am - 4:00pm) and week B (9:30am - 5:30pm). To be considered for this role, you will need to be available to work these hours.What you''ll doReceiving clients, partners and staff in a personable and professional manner.Responding to telephone calls and email requests.Confirming room bookings via the system and assisting stakeholders to ensure their bookings reflect catering, IT/VC equipment and room set up needs.Coordinating and managing third party and internal events.Ensuring the reception area is tidy and maintained to the highest standard.Building strong relationships with colleagues in the Facilities and Client Services teams, to ensure a seamless experience for our internal and external stakeholders.Assisting with occasional waiter duties and/or after-hours events as required.Assisting with administration and reporting tasks as required.What you''ll bringPremium hotel or corporate reception experience.A genuine commitment to client service and providing an exceptional front of house experience for our stakeholders.Intermediate IT skills, and familiarity with Outlook, Word and Excel.Experience with digital room booking systems.A reliable and team focused approach.The ability to remain calm under pressure and effectively prioritise tasks.Adaptable and comfortable multitasking, with a strong willingness to learn and a proactive, cando approachProven ability to communicate effectively and work cohesively within a high performing team.Immaculate presentation, in compliance with dress standards at all times.An innovative mindset, curious about AI and emerging technologies.What you can expect from usWe''re a world leading international law firm with a global team of over 6,000 professionals across 26 offices.
