You''ll take ownership of the daytoday coordination of local cartage, ensuring deliveries meet DIFOT targets, drivers are supported and compliant, and customer expectations are consistently exceeded.This is a fastpaced, safetycritical role where your decisions directly influence service outcomes, profitability, and operational performance. You''ll play a key role in ensuring safe, efficient and customerfocused transport operations across the Victorian Network.Key Responsibilities, but limited to -Coordinate daily fleet operations to achieve service excellence and delivery outcomes.Monitor DIFOT performance and proactively manage delivery issues.Maximise fleet utilisation, including organising backloads to improve profitability.Communicate with customers on delays, changes, and delivery status, building strong working relationships.Collaborate with drivers, subcontractors, service providers and customer schedulers for smooth operational flow.Complete and maintain daily shift reports, run sheet checks, POD followups and incident/accident reporting.What you''ll need to succeed - Experience in fleet control, transport allocation or load planning.Strong understanding of load restraint, transport compliance, NHVAS and safe driving principles.Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a customer-focused mindset.Proficiency in logistics systems (TMS/WMS) and MS Office Suite.Ability to problemsolve under pressure and maintain control in a highvolume environment.What moves you?At Toll, you can help play a vital role in delivering what matters.
