We are seeking an Experienced Dentist (Level 2-3) to join our Lilydale Dental Team in a part-time, fixed-term role covering parental leave from 24 February 2026 until 15 January 2027. This role is ideal for clinicians who value clinical autonomy, teamwork, work-life balance, and community impact . Role overview The AccessHC dental program provides community-based dental care to all children under 12 years of age, adult concession card holders and their dependants (under 18 years). As a Dentist Level 2-3 , you will provide high-quality, efficient, and effective dental care within publicly funded dental services, while also supporting private services where appropriate. You will work autonomously while being supported by a collaborative, values-driven dental team in a well-established community clinic. What you will be doing Deliver dental care in line with AccessHC and Oral Health Victoria (OHV) policies and guidelines Provide high-quality, patient-centred care within public dental service scope Collaborate with dentists, oral health therapists and dental prosthetists Refer complex cases appropriately and support less experienced clinicians Maintain OH&S, infection control, and record-keeping standards What you will bring Key Selection Criteria Current AHPRA registration as a Dentist Minimum 3 years experience with at least 6 months within Australia High level of clinical competence and broad relevant experience in all aspects of dentistry Excellent interpersonal, communication and time-management skills Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team Desirable Experience in community dental and/or private practice Familiarity with electronic patient management system Titanium/Exact Previous experience in community dental or private practice Experience in oral health promotion and outreach activities Compliance requirements National Police Check, Working with Children Check, NDIS Worker Screening Check Evidence of the right to work in Australia and a valid drivers licence Benefits and culture Access Health and Community offers a supportive, values-based culture, commitment to professional development, predictable hours and work-life balance, salary packaging opportunities, paid parental leave, and a focus on staff wellbeing.
