Overview JOB TITLE: GENERAL MANAGER (GM) REPORTS TO: CEO/Director Position purpose: The General Manager (GM) is responsible for the overall operational and strategic leadership of TDT Training Australia. The role ensures the effective delivery of high-quality training services, strong financial performance, compliance with regulatory standards and sustainable business growth. The GM provides leadership to site managers, driving operational excellence and client satisfaction while aligning with TDTs mission and values. Responsibilities Support the CEO in business strategy, identify growth opportunities and drive innovation. Increase management effectiveness and efficiency through design and implementation of accountability measures in collaboration with the senior management team. Provide operational oversight to ensure consistency in the efficient delivery of training and service across all TDT sites. Prepare and manage budget forecasts and financial reports in collaboration with Head of Finance. Build strong relationships with clients, regulators and industry partners in collaboration with Heads of Departments. Maintain quality service by establishing and enforcing organizational standards. Provide team leadership through coaching and support to site managers to deliver operational and commercial goals in liaison with the senior management team. Fulfil other duties as required by management. Knowledge: Strong knowledge of RTO compliance and vocational training frameworks. Skills & Competencies: Customer service focused: committed to providing exceptional customer service across all channels (written, phone, face to face). Communication: clear and concise, varying style by audience. Attention to detail: excellent written and verbal communication. Commerciality: ability to apply knowledge in a practical commercial manner. Teamwork: willingness to assist and support others and work with the team. Time management/organisation: deliver objectives within deadlines and manage administrative duties efficiently.
