We are currently undergoing a large period of expansion and specialisation, creating exciting opportunities for individuals keen to challenge themselves and progress their professional knowledge and skills.Services are provided through our six main campuses:Northern Hospital EppingBroadmeadows HospitalBundoora CentreCraigieburnMernda Community Hospitals and Kilmore District Hospital.In addition, Mental Health Services are provided at Epping, Broadmeadows, Jacana, Preston, Mill Park and Coburg.About the Role:A part-timefixed termopportunity (until March 2027 - covering maternity leave) exists foraGrade 2/3 PharmacyTechnicianto join the team at Northern Health.This role will require work40hoursafortnightbased at Kilmore District hospitalwith potential to rotate to other sites of Northern Health asrequired.This role will also be expected to participate in our weekend and public holiday roster.The role of thePharmacy Technicianis an integral part of our growing team, whichcomprisesof over 100 pharmacists and close to 40 technicians. The successful applicant willparticipatein a highly functioning team, providing a service covering awide-rangeof clinical specialties, dispensary, outpatient clinics,educationand stewardship programs.To be successful in this role you will have:Certificate III or IV in Health (Hospital Pharmacy Technician) awarded by a registered training organisation or equivalent qualification (as approved by the Pharmacy Board of Victoria or equivalent body), orlooking toattainthis certificate within 18 months of commencing employment.Hospital pharmacy experienceis preferred.Ability to produce a service of excellence by use of Quality Improvement techniques and be familiar with National Standards Accreditation requirementsPreviousexposure to a broad range of pharmacy services in the general hospital field.Good timemanagement and organisational skills area must.Next Steps.If this opportunity sounds like the next step in your career, then we would love to hear from you.Please click on the ''Apply'' button and follow the prompts.For further details, please refer to the Position Description.
