You''ll manage the end-to-end allocations process for a range of housing typessocial, affordable, market, and SDAensuring transparency, fairness, and efficiency.You''ll work closely with internal and external partners to assess housing applications, coordinate property viewings, and complete sign-ups for new residents. This is a hands-on, people-focused role with a direct impact on resident outcomes.Key responsibilities include:Coordinate the allocations process for new and vacant properties in your stateAssess housing applications, eligibility and supporting documentationConduct onsite viewings and sign-ups across multiple locationsCollaborate with Housing Officers and support services to ensure seamless handoversMaintain accurate records and manage vacant property turnaround timelinesContribute to the marketing of housing opportunities and support applicant engagementPrepare KPI and compliance reporting and support continuous improvement of processesSkills And Experiences About youYou will have:Experience in housing, community services, or a related field (or transferable skills)Strong administrative and organisational skillsGreat communication and customer service abilitiesAbility to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environmentKnowledge of social and affordable housing or willingness to learnSensitivity to the needs of vulnerable communitiesCurrent driver''s licence and willing to travel as needed.You must agree to undergo any required employment screening, including but not limited to a National Criminal History or Police Check, Working with Children or Vulnerable Persons Check, and NDIS Worker Screening Check.Even if you do not meet every requirement, we encourage you to apply.
