About the role Essendon Supported Living is seeking an experienced Personal Care Assistant/Cook to join our dedicated team in Essendon, VIC 3040. This is a permanent part-time opportunity to provide exceptional care and support to our residents. As a Personal Care Assistant/Cook, you will play a vital role in ensuring the wellbeing and comfort of our residents while also preparing nutritious and delicious meals. What you''ll be doing Provide personalised care and assistance with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility Prepare and serve high-quality, nutritious meals that cater to the dietary needs and preferences of our residents Maintain a clean and organised kitchen and dining area Monitor and report on the physical, emotional, and social needs of residents Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans Assist with recreational activities and outings to enhance the quality of life for our residents What we''re looking for Previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant or Cook in an aged care setting Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a genuine passion for working with the elderly and disabled.
