As our Child Health Nurse, you will walk alongside families to strengthen the early chapters of life through culturally safe, family-centered care. Reporting to the Clinical Lead Newman, you will lead child health service delivery within our primary health care setting, grounded in community partnership and clinical excellence.You will:Deliver child health checks and developmental screeningCoordinate childhood immunisations (Newman Clinic)Undertake Children in Care (CIC) health checks and interagency liaisonSupport ear health screening and specialist outreachProvide case management for children with complex needsPartner with families and the multidisciplinary team to deliver education and care planning using CommunicareYou bring:Current AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse (min. 3 years postgrad experience)Experience in primary health care and multidisciplinary teamsUnderstanding of ACCHS models and social determinants of Aboriginal child and family healthVaccination/NIP certification (or willingness to complete within 6 weeks)Strong cultural safety practice; ability to work autonomously in remote settingsC Class Manual licence and willingness to drive 4WDCommunicare experience (desirable); Child Health or Midwifery qualifications (highly regarded)Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander heritage strongly encouragedWhat we offer:$121,033.12 $136,145.80 p.a.
