The Youth Services Program in Kununurra strengthens community safety for young people by providing safe spaces and culturally responsive, traumainformed support. In this fulltime, maxterm role through to 31 December 2027, youll work as a part of our Youth Services team in Kununurra to help us create lasting change for children everywhere. What you will do Driving quality programme planning and implementation Coaching, training and developing colleagues to increase skill and competency to enable highquality service delivery Developing and maintaining operational stakeholder relationships that are critical to the success of the programme Coordinating staff caseloads and programme logistics, monitoring and evaluation, risk management and child protection Maintaining a caseload of clients. You will have the ability to mentor and support colleagues, have expertise in using traumainformed practice approaches, an understanding of the youth justice system and knowledge of the issues facing young people in the community, along with exceptional communication skills working in a crosscultural environment.
