Develop and be part of an established Quality Assurance and Food Safety Team. The position reports to the Quality Assurance Manager and is based at Harwood Sugar Mill & Refinery, near the seaside town of Yamba in northern NSW. This role supports customer requirements and ensures compliance with the QA and Food Safety program.Key responsibilities include driving continuous improvement in team member education on food safety and quality processes.Work closely with internal teams such as production and warehousing to ensure compliance with food safety, quality assurance programs, certifications, and customer requirements.Assist in resolving non-conformance and food safety issues, including managing customer and supplier performance feedback.Manage internal and external audits for food safety, quality systems, and improvements.What we are looking for:Commitment and a positive attitude towards safety and cultureRelevant qualifications or industry experienceExperience in food manufacturing, food safety, or quality assuranceInitiative to learn established QA systems and teamwork skillsStrong written and oral communication skillsExperience working with external stakeholders, suppliers, and customersHigh attention to detailAbility to make sound decisions based on analysis, experience, and judgmentProblem-solving and troubleshooting skillsDriver''s license (car)About us:We are an Australian-owned sugar milling and refining company operating three sugar mills and a refinery in the Northern Rivers region of NSW.
