Your next company: Our client is a large national commercial building company that has a wide spectrum of quality projects to their name. They are known for their work particularly within Education, Government, Health, Defence and Commercial areas. Your next role: They are looking to hire a Design Manager who will oversee the quality of their designs, ensuring customer satisfaction and liaising with a wide variety of stakeholders. Below are some of the tasks you will complete as part of the role: Oversee and approve development + building approvals. Oversee the design process. Coordinate and engage with consultants, estimators, clients, government agencies and more. Conduct project evaluations and feasibility studies. Prepare scopes of works. Oversee some of the earlystage design concepts. Adhoc tasks. Are you a fit? To be considered successful, you will have a Bachelor of Architecture, Engineering or Construction Management with numerous years of postdegree design experience, a good understanding and experience with design and construct projects of $10million or more. You will have great communication skills; experience working on Australian construction projects and the proven ability to lead and guide others effectively.
