About the role Reporting to the Berri Distribution Centre Manager, this handson leadership role sits at the core of our warehouse operations. Youll work rotating shifts (day, afternoon and night) Monday to Friday, with occasional weekend work. In this modern, climatecontrolled warehouse supported by automated guided vehicle (AGV) technology youll lead a committed team to deliver safe, efficient and highquality distribution outcomes. Key Responsibilities Include: Lead, coach and motivate a highperforming team to deliver accurate and efficient picking, packing and loading. Champion a strong safety and quality culture across all warehouse activities. Provide ongoing mentoring, feedback and performance support to team members. Drive continuous improvement and lean initiatives to enhance productivity. Receive and verify incoming shipments to maintain stock accuracy. Conduct regular inventory checks and cycle counts. Support internal and external audits, including actioning followups and corrective measures. Operate forklifts safely and support AGVenabled warehouse processes. Maintain accurate and timely data across warehouse systems, including WMS, AGV management and JDE. What Youll Bring: Significant experience in warehousing or distribution centre operations. Strong understanding of health & safety compliance. Solid problemsolving ability and sound judgment in a fastpaced environment. Clear and confident communication skills with the ability to share knowledge and contribute ideas. A professional, flexible approach and ownership mindset. Selfmotivation, reliability and ability to perform under pressure. Certificate III in Transport & Distribution (Warehousing & Storage) or equivalent.
