Manager Capital Works The Role: Lead and oversee the delivery of capital works projects,ensuring outcomes meet approved scope, quality, time and budgetrequirements. Ensure compliance with all RAAFA policies, procedures andreasonable management directions. Partner with Procurement and internal stakeholders todevelop capital budgets, negotiate contracts, define scopes andKPIs/SLAs, and manage contractor performance to achieve valuefor money and risk minimisation. Identify, manage and elevate project risks, issues andvariances, ensuring appropriate governance, approvals andreporting are maintained in line with RAAFA frameworks. Provide accurate project reporting, leadership, directionand performance management for the Property Projects team,fostering capability, accountability and continuousimprovement. Assess construction drawings and contracts, and Collaboratewith Maintenance to ensure asset data, warranties anddocumentation are accurately captured within preventivemaintenance and asset management systems at projecthandover Build and maintain strong internal and external stakeholderrelationships to support highquality,compliant project outcomes. Exercise approved financial and contractual delegations inaccordance with RAAFAs Delegations of Authority. Ensure capital projects considerwholeoflife cost,maintainability and operational impacts, all project compliancedocumentation, certifications and approvals are obtained,accurate and retained in accordance with legislative,regulatory and organisational requirements. About you: Demonstrated experience delivering complex capital worksprojects across multiple sites in live operationalenvironments. Strong capability in the use of asset management systems,Microsoft Office and relevant project management tools. Proven experience managing contractors to ensure deliveryof agreed scopes, timeframes and KPIs Diploma in Construction Management, Project Management,Engineering or related Trade discipline. PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP or equivalent project managementcertification. Registered Builder (WA) or strong working knowledge ofNCC/BCA and Australian Standards. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with theability to engage effectively at all levels.
