In this site-based role, you will support the ongoing operation and maintenance of the site, ensuring it operates safely, efficiently, and in full compliance, while contributing to a respectful and inclusive work environment.**Key Responsibilities:**Maintenance Management* Assist with creating inspection checklists and documentation for site equipment (structures, LV plant, civil, mechanical, etc.)* Support development of site-specific plans (e.g., vegetation maintenance)* Conduct basic inspections and repairs* Perform maintenance activities on plant and equipment to the extent of knowledge and competencyMedium Voltage/High Voltage Operations* Participate in HV switching activities as permitted by training and competencyAsset Operations (PV)* Execute preventative maintenance tasks per schedules and manuals* Manage and audit spare parts inventory* Respond to incidents and outages within competency limitsRisk Assessment & HSSE Management* Support implementation of Vena Energys Integrated Management System (IMS)* Assist with HSSE documentation (Risk Registers, SWMS, permits, audits)* Participate in HSSE workshops, inspections, and investigations**Must have:*** Completion of Year 10 schooling* Competent in the use of power and hand tools* Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment* Strong safety awareness and commitment to safe work practices* Capable of managing tasks independently and efficiently* Good situational awareness in dynamic work environments* Experience engaging with local communities or stakeholders* Valid Class C Manual Drivers Licence**Good to have:*** Proven experience in a trade or skilled profession* Minimum one year of experience working on an operational solar asset or in a similar industry* Practical experience with HSSE systems and protocols* Solid understanding of corporate HSSE and quality management systems* Knowledge of legislative requirements related to Landcare and environmental management* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite* Forklift operation certification and experience* Valid ACDC Licence (Agricultural Chemical Distribution Control)Preference will be given to locally based applicants and those willing to relocate to site, with a relocation support package available if required.
