Apprentice Chef Arkaba Hotel The Arkaba Hotel has a new opportunity for an Apprentice Chef to join the team and take their first steps on a path to a future career in the Hospitality Industry. No experience is required; full training will be provided. The successful candidate will work in an experienced team at the Arkaba kitchen and complete a Certificate 3 in Commercial Cookery with paid time to attend study blocks during their employment. Training is conducted by the Adelaide Institute of Hospitality in Adelaide City in their full commercial kitchen and classroom facilities. Successful applicants will benefit from working in a varied cooking environment, learning about modern Australian cuisine, emerging trends, a la carte service, food preparation, functions, weddings and wine degustation dinners. Current apprentices and trainees hold senior positions across our company having gained full training and insight into our business operations, then qualified and progressed into key leadership positions recognising their cooking ability, experience and leadership capabilities.
