The General Practice and Nurse Led Specialty Service operates as a team within Primary Care and is responsible for delivering high quality medical and nursing services across the outer east region of Melbourne. We are a multidisciplinary team of GPs, Nurse Practitioners, Registered Nurses, Bicultural Workers, and allied health professionals working collaboratively and alongside the Refugee Health Program. We are a recognised Sexual and Reproductive Health Hub for the Department of Human Services as well as one of the Endometriosis and Pelvic Pain clinics in Victoria, delivering services such as: Long Acting Reversible Contraception (IUD, Implanon) Cervical screening Pregnancy and fertility care Maternity shared care Menstrual health care Menopause Care Pelvic Pain management Medical Termination of Pregnancy Immunisation PrEP Blood Borne Virus and Sexually Transmitted Infection checks Your role, your impact As a General Practitioner , you have the power to change livesnot just through medical expertise, but through compassion, advocacy, and courage . Support and uplift Nurse Practitioners , strengthening the impact of primary healthcare. Uphold the highest professional and ethical standards , ensuring patient trust and confidentiality.
