Youll join a practice that acts for both Australian and London market clients, with a steady flow of technically challenging claims across a wide range of industries. Think high-profile matters that attract media attention (especially where preservation of business reputation is of importance), $100m+ mining matters, multimillion-dollar fire and water damage to commercial buildings, and multi-party disputes requiring advice on policy coverage, contractual indemnities and complex dual insurance issues. This is a team that is deeply invested in developing senior talent, with a strong emphasis on technical mentoring, collaboration and support. Youll work with a particularly strong group of Partners, several of whom have long-standing recognition through Best Lawyers and Doyles Guide, as well as having a number of high-performing Senior Associates and Special Counsels to bounce off. The firm offers an adaptable working environment, treating you like an adult and allowing you to manage your workload in a way that suits your lifestyle whether you prefer a specific work schedule, or just need time for personal commitments like kids sports days. With only one mandatory office day each week, you can ensure a flexible work-life balance.
