Their novel blood testing technology is revolutionary for translational immunology and will impact clin ical care, enabling earlier and easier diagnosis of conditions such as coeliac disease, type 1 diabetes, and cancers including melanoma. Their ultrasensitive blood test measures antigen-specific T cells, initially for application in clinical trials and, over time, in broader healthcare settings. They are growing and profitable, with active, repeat customers in over six countries. Role Overview They are seeking a highly organised and forward-thinking Partnerships & Projects Associate to play a central role in the operational delivery of our business development initiatives. This position requires someone adept at managing multiple priorities, aligning stakeholders, and ensuring the right level of process is in place to drive results without creating unnecessary overhead. The ideal candidate will be tech-savvy, able to anticipate challenges, and confident in diplomatically influencing colleagues at all levels to take timely action. Working closely with the Business Development Director, you will coordinate a diverse portfolio of projects, ensuring our team remains focused on high-impact activities and that our customers experience seamless, high-quality delivery. Note this role may require occasional travel for customer meetings, conferences, or team offsites. Key Responsibilities 1. Project Management Lead the day-to-day delivery of business development projects, including proposals, sample shipments, data tracking, and post-sale follow-up. Coordinate customer-facing projects, particularly those linked to clinical trial activities. Develop and maintain detailed project plans and timelines to ensure on-time delivery of key milestones. Act as the central point of contact between customers, internal teams (R&D, Operations), and third-party partners. Facilitate regular project check-ins, ensuring clear tracking of actions, decisions, and scope changes. Identify and escalate project risks promptly and contribute to effective resolutions. 2. Customer Support & Relationship Management Serve as a primary contact for existing customers from onboarding through to delivery. Anticipate needs, provide proactive updates, and maintain a consistent and professional communication flow. Ensure customer engagement is well-managed and that expectations are met or exceeded. 3. Operational Delivery Align internal workflows with BD objectives to support efficient and high-quality delivery. Monitor and refine internal processes to ensure they remain effective and fit for purpose. Identify and recommend enhancements to improve scalability, coordination, and customer outcomes. Introduce process refinements that support quality and efficiency without adding unnecessary complexity. 4. Other Coordinate the preparation of strategic grant applications, managing timelines and documentation. Support planning and logistics for conferences, customer site visits, and industry events, including materials preparation and travel coordination. Skills & Experience Required: 35 years of experience in project coordination, operations, or business development support. Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities and maintain oversight across complex projects. Strong organisational skills with a rigorous but adaptable approach. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Demonstrated ability to work with cross-functional teams and influence outcomes across all levels of the organisation. Proficiency in using modern business tools and systems (CRM platforms, project management tools, collaborative software). Experience in a clinical, research, biotech, or similarly regulated environment is highly regarded. Familiarity with clinical trial operations or customer onboarding in regulated industries.
