The Gradi Group Production Facility is looking for all levels of experienced Bakers to join our teamDue to expanding production and growing demand across our venues and wholesale partners, we are seeking skilled bakers ready to contribute immediately in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment.This role is suited to professionals with strong baking fundamentals who can work independently, follow production schedules and maintain consistent product quality.Immediate starts available.Required:Proven professional baking experience in bakery, pastry or food production environmentsAvailability to work a rotating roster including alternating weekends (one weekend on, one weekend off).Experience with yeasted doughs, bread production, and high-volume bakingAbility to work efficiently to production schedules and daily targetsStrong understanding of food safety, hygiene and HACCP environmentsAbility to work early mornings, weekends, and flexible shifts as requiredStrong attention to detail, consistency and organisationAbility to work independently and as part of a production teamSalary: Award rates apply (Food, Beverage & Tobacco Manufacturing Award 2020), depending on employment type and experience:Casual: Level 3 $32.31/hr to Level 6 $36.25/hrPart-Time: Level 3 $25.85/hr to Level 6 $29.00/hrFull-Time: $72,000 $75,000 per annum + super (negotiable depending on experience)Location: 17 Lens Street, Coburg North VIC 3058About the RoleYou will be responsible for producing baked goods within our production facility, supporting daily manufacturing requirements across Gradi Group venues and partners.Responsibilities include:Mixing, preparing and baking bread and dough productsFollowing production schedules and batch requirementsMonitoring dough development, proofing and baking processesMaintaining consistency, quality and presentation standardsEnsuring compliance with food safety and hygiene proceduresAssisting with ingredient preparation, stock rotation and production setupSupporting general production and cleaning duties as requiredThis is a hands-on role within a growing food manufacturing operation.Who We AreGradi Group (400 Gradi, Zero Gradi, Mercato & Gradi Pronto) is an award-winning, family-run business specialising in authentic Italian food production.
