Permanent Full-time role in offering competitive salary and bonusBe part of a fun, dynamic & hard-working teamFlexible working arrangements; hybrid model 60/40 3 days in office 2 daysAbout our role:Reporting to the Customer Director Independents, the National Account Manager is responsible for the management and growth of the commercial relationships in Metcash and across the Independent Grocery channel for the achievement of the set financial, category, strategic, marketing and sales plans and objectives across the Beverages & Milk portfolio in Independents. This role is open to applicants located in Brisbane, Melbourne, Perth, Sydney, and Adelaide.Responsibilities include:Direct management of the Beverages & Milk portfolio in Metcash and act as the Senior point of contact for those state based Independent MSOs which are not defined as a strategic MSO group who are managed by the State KAMsDay to day responsibility for the account management of Western Australia & South AustralianDevelop and execute tailored strategies for single-site operators in each state.Foster a culture that enhances alignment between Lactalis Key Account Managers (KAMs) and the field team. In collaboration with field management, design and implement effective tools to drive distribution, growth, and efficient in-store process management for KAMs.Achieve Market Share, Volume/2 Net and Marginal Contribution budgets as specified in the business operating plan, whilst maintaining trade and promotional spend in line with budgeted rates.Develop and execute a Metcash annual joint business plan that is aligned to the Metcash Category businessesLead and conduct joint planning meetings with Metcash as a catalyst to build future opportunities aligned to the category vision and growth drivers that will be part of the Joint Business PlanSecure Metcash acceptance of Lactalis NPD and ensure required information is loaded to ensure hosting at store level.Liaise with Marketing, Customer Marketing and Demand Planning on sales related issues in terms of product development, launch timing/details and major customer requirements and activations.Lead and manage the process for relevant tenders working closely with Finance and Customer Innovation teams to meet customer timelines and win/retain business as determined by the SBU Management TeamConsensus Forecasting for Metcash Warehouse lines including promotional forecasting to ensure the accuracy of forward forecastManage the commercial execution of Independent Grocery including pricing maintenance, claims reconciliation, management of promotional monies (including Case Deal,Coop and TDF/BDF) and developing sales gap closure activities to deliver the commercial KPIsCoach, manage and develop the State Key Account Manager that report into this position and support them to build and execute growth based joint business plans with retailers at state level.Complete necessary reporting responsibilities in a timely manner - including relevant commentary on resultsAbout you:Hold a bachelor''s degree in business, marketing or related fieldsProven experience with field sales operation, category, space management, supply chain and or inventory previously.High level of computer literacy in Microsoft Office, Aztec, & SAPExposure to competitive Environment knowledge Category & ChannelAdvanced Data Analysis & UnderstandingOur story:Ours is a STORY of a family business created by the Besnier Family in 1933 and is today the worlds'' No. 1 dairy company.
