Posted on 24 February 26 by Ross Nicholson Drilling Engineer / Senior Drilling Engineer Location: Brisbane, QLD Employment Type: Permanent Company: Zenith Energy Campaign Overview Zenith Energy is seeking an experienced Drilling Engineer to join our Brisbane-based team, supporting a range of onshore and offshore well delivery projects. This role will contribute across well design and well operations engineering scopes, providing technically robust, commercially sound solutions to our client base. The position is suited to a drilling professional comfortable working across multiple projects, engaging directly with clients, and supporting well delivery from planning through execution support. Demonstrated experience in well design engineering Proven background in well operations engineering support Strong working knowledge of drilling engineering principles and industry standards Experience preparing drilling programmes and associated documentation Ability to provide operational troubleshooting and technical guidance Strong analytical and problemsolving capability Effective written and verbal communication skills Willingness to travel to wellsites as required Advantageous Experience Experience operating in consultancy or multiclient environments Exposure to wellsite leadership roles (e.g. DSV) Commercial awareness and ability to identify service opportunities Broader well delivery exposure supporting progression toward Senior Drilling Engineer or Superintendent-level roles Responsibilities Planning Phase Develop and review drilling programmes Prepare well design documentation in accordance with Zenith procedures, regulatory and industry requirements Conduct offset well analysis and risk identification Support cost estimation and performance optimisation initiatives Operational Support Provide technical input during well execution Support troubleshooting and operational decisionmaking Interface with client representatives and offshore teams Participate in wellsite assignments where required Commercial & Growth Contribution Identify opportunities to support additional scopes of work Contribute to Zenith Energys continued growth through technical excellence and market awareness Zenith Energy supports structured professional progression, including: Wellsite leadership exposure (e.g. DSV roles) Development toward Senior Drilling Engineer positions Pathway to Drilling Superintendent-level responsibility Apply To express interest, please submit: Updated CV Zenith Energy is a technically focused well engineering consultancy delivering pragmatic, highquality solutions across the energy sector. #J-18808-Ljbffr
