Due to growth of our Adelaide Insurance team, were seeking a Lawyer (1-3 PQE) to join working alongside Grant Mitchell and Bronwyn Ackland. The Role Due to growth of our Adelaide Insurance team, were seeking a dedicated and talented Lawyer (1-3 PQE) to join working alongside Grant Mitchell and Bronwyn Ackland. The team acts for some of Australias largest insurers, corporate entities, the State of South Australia, and NFPs in South Australian and Commonwealth courts in the areas of professional indemnity and public and product liability, including medical negligence and construction disputes. Your key responsibilities will include: Assist senior lawyers in managing a diverse defendant insurance portfolio Draft pleadings, correspondence, advices, and evidence summaries Conduct legal research and contribute to strategy development Liaise with insurers, insured clients, experts, and counsel Attend court events, mediations, and settlement conferences Who We Are Looking For The ideal candidate will have the following: Between 1-3 years PQE, ideally from a defendant insurance practice.
