The Glenorchy City Council is currently seeking a dedicated and capable Multi-skilled Labourer - Roads to undertake handson labouring, plant and truck operation duties associated with the maintenance and construction of roads, drainage, and other key civil infrastructure. What Were Looking For In this handson role, youll carry out a variety of maintenance and construction tasks on roads, drainage, and civil infrastructure. Youll operate trucks and small plant, implement safe traffic control, read and interpret plans, and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently. You''ll be a key part of a supportive team, contributing to highquality infrastructure projects that benefit the community. To be successful in this role, youll need handson experience in civil construction. You should be confident operating small plant and equipment, able to read and interpret plans, and committed to working safely. Strong teamwork, adaptability, and physical fitness are essential, along with a willingness to work outdoors in all conditions.
