Foodbank SA & NT is looking for volunteers to support the operations of our Food Hubs. If you''re passionate about making a difference in your community then we would love to hear from you. The role As a Foodbank volunteer, you will play a key role in supporting our mission to end hunger in South Australia and the Northern Territory. Food Hubs are small unique supermarkets open Monday to Friday that assist people referred by an external agency for food relief. Volunteer duties include: Greeter - welcome and assist vulnerable clients Check out - process their shop on the computer system Deliveries & Store Room unload stock, sort deliveries and stock shelves Need to know Training will be provided. Light and heavy lifting may be required depending on duties undertaken. Centrelink approved Age requirements 18+years old Date End date:- Skills Aged Care Disability Support Support Services: Counselling, Psychology, Social Support Food Preparation and Hospitality Childcare, Youth and Family Services Leadership Retail and Sales Safety and Emergency Services Education, Training, Mentoring and Coaching (including sports) To get the most good food to the most people in need in SA and the NT and in the most efficient way possible.
