Join our dedicated team and help improve emotional, social, and mental wellbeing for some of the most vulnerable members of our community.About the RoleAs a Counsellor within the Violence, Abuse and Neglect (VAN) Service, youll provide trauma-informed crisis intervention, counselling, and case coordination for victims of domestic violence and their non-offending family members. Youll work collaboratively with health professionals, NSW Police, and community agencies to ensure clients receive the care they need, when they need it.Your responsibilities will include:Delivering crisis assessment and counselling interventions.Participating in Domestic Violence Safety Action Meetings and interagency collaboration.Providing outreach services and hospital in-reach support.Joining the VANS on-call roster for crisis response, including after-hours and weekends.Maintaining accurate records and contributing to service improvement.
