The Opportunity This is a hands-on, concept-driven role for a curious and forward-thinking designer, who is fluent across retail environments, in-store experience, and brand activation. You will be passionate about exploring how technology and creativity converge meaningfully within physical space. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, youll bring big ideas and translate these into tangible, emotionally resonant retail experiences that drive human connection designed to captivate, connect audiences, and shape culture. You will bring a deep understanding of retail design fundamentals and have the skills to translate brand identity and storytelling into the built environment. Who You Are You''re a curious, inventive designer with a proactive, experimental mindset. You thrive in collaborative environments, iterate quickly, and have a genuine passion for creating memorable retail experiences that spark emotion and connect with people. What You''ll Do Translate Ideas into Compelling Design Transform concepts into powerful design outputs, applied into the built environment from sketches and narratives to 3D visuals and motion-led storytelling that bring ideas off the page and into physical space. Collaborate Across Disciplines & Time Zones Work closely with multi-disciplinary teams to push ideas, iterate fast, and refine concepts with confidence. Use Figma/Miro as part of a collaborative global workflow, helping connect ideas seamlessly across teams and geographies. Experiment with Technology & Innovation Explore how AI and emerging technologies can enhance storytelling, immersion, and shareability in physical environments. Push the boundaries of whats possible when creativity meets innovation. Present with Clarity & Conviction Communicate your ideas confidentlywhether in internal workshops or client pitches. Create visuals and presentations that articulate creative thinking with precision and emotion. Create Spectacle Design experiences that dont just exist in spacethey transform it. Uphold YourStudios creative principles: anchor in an idea, design for emotion, say more with less, use your imagination, and commit. You bring: 58 years of experience in retail environments, experiential design, brand activation, or spatial storytelling A portfolio that demonstrates conceptual depth and craft in translating big ideas into memorable in-store experiences Strong storytelling, visualization, and presentation skillsconfident moving between sketches, storyboards, and 3D visuals Proficiency in Figma/Miro for collaborative design, plus strong working knowledge of Cinema 4D and sketching Experience using AI-assisted and generative tools as part of the creative process A hands-on, experimental approachopen to collaboration and confident iterating ideas quickly A desire to create work that defines culture and leaves a lasting impression Additional information: We offer a competitive salary, available upon request, plus our benefits package, which includes: We value culture and collaboration and for this reason we operate a hybrid model, with 3 days a week working time to be studio based 25 days holidays, plus bank holidays, plus birthday off, wellness day and extra service allowance 2 days allocated for personal community service per year (pro-rata for fixed-term contracts) 2 week travel & working abroad opportunity Were members of Careers After Babies, offering family-friendly policies and enhanced parental leave Social & Culture calendar, including Summer Party night away, Christmas party, and monthly social activities We would love to hear from you.
