Description As the first point of contact for our company, you will play a key role in creating a positive and welcoming experience for visitors, clients, and employees. Key Responsibilities Welcome visitors warmly, ensuring they sign into Verkada, adhere to safety protocols, and inform the relevant parties of their arrival, offer beverage and rest room facilities where required. Manage the reception inbox, redirecting emails, answering phone calls, taking messages, and directing calls to the appropriate stakeholders. Assist with the drafting of documents for management staff, raising purchase orders, and assisting all other departments when and where necessary. Provide autonomous supervision and management of critical services, including but not limited to strata, office cleaning, stationary order, office equipment, and general maintenance, following negotiations and directives from the Indigenous Business Development Manager. Assist with the organisation and management of internal and external business functions, including catering, birthday events, flower orders and any other company events. Assist with the arrangements of commercial flights, accommodation, and car hire bookings for management and relevant parties as required. Coordinate booking, setting up, and clearing of meeting rooms, ensuring spaces are prepared for meetings and cleared promptly afterwards. Maintain communal areas, such as the kitchen and bathrooms, making sure to replenish staff amenities including milk, fruits, toilet paper, hand soap, and paper towels, among other essentials. Manage the transport of goods to projects or other locations via toll or courier, including packaging, arranging pick up, and notifying the addressee of the expected arrival time. About You Previous experience in a Receptionist, Front Desk, or Administrative role preferred. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organisational and multitasking abilities. Professional presentation and customerfocused attitude. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
