The Role As a Partnerships and Sales Manager at Umbraco, youll be at the forefront of our expansion and the continued success of our existing ecosystem in the APAC region. You will be responsible for nurturing and growing our current base of 13 partners in Australia and two in New Zealand, while also identifying and developing new strategic partnerships with digital agencies and solution providers, and engaging directly with enterprise clients. Our commitment to the region is underscored by our Umbraco Data Centre in Australia, established in August 2023, providing localised infrastructure to support our clients and partners. This role focuses on creating mutual value through strategic collaboration and expert guidance. This role demands a strategic mindset coupled with handson execution, balancing the growth of existing partnerships and new business development with comprehensive partner enablement. Youll be instrumental in driving Umbracos continued growth and delivering exceptional experiences to our ecosystem. What Youll Do Partner Relationship Management Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with key partners and enterprise clients across the APAC region, with a particular focus on nurturing and expanding the capabilities of our existing ten partners in Australia and two in New Zealand. Develop and execute strategies to maximise the success and engagement of current partners, driving increased adoption and revenue through their channels. Support partners in leveraging the Umbraco platform to deliver exceptional digital experiences, acting as a trusted advisor and enabler. Collaborate on joint gotomarket strategies, sales enablement, and coselling opportunities, ensuring partners are equipped for success. Guide new partners through onboarding and ensure ongoing engagement through tools, training, and resources, fostering a thriving partner ecosystem. Sales & Business Development Identify and close new business opportunities, especially in the enterprise segment, often in collaboration with or through our partner network. Actively seek out and onboard new strategic partners that align with Umbraco''s growth objectives in the APAC market. Lead a consultative, solutionbased sales approach across the full sales cycle, emphasising Umbraco''s robust, opensource CMS platform and the strategic advantage of our Australian Data Centre for regional clients. Work crossfunctionally with marketing, product, and support teams to deliver a cohesive customer experience. Operations & Performance Maintain accurate CRM records and use data to inform and improve sales strategies. Own your pipeline and consistently meet or exceed monthly revenue targets. Track and report on KPIs tied to growth, partner success, and revenue impact. What Were Looking For At Umbraco, we hire people, not just rsums. MustHave Qualifications 5+ years in partner development, strategic alliance management, or B2B software sales/account management (preferably in CMS, SaaS, or digital services), with a demonstrable track record of growing partner ecosystems. Proven ability to nurture existing partnerships, expand their revenue contribution and drive new revenue opportunities. Bachelors or Masters degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Comfortable with technical conversations and solutionbased selling. Exceptional communication, organization, and strategic thinking skills. Based in Melbourne and able to travel interstate/NZ occasionally. Nice to have Familiarity with Umbraco CMS or existing relationships within its partner ecosystem. Experience in the .NET/Microsoft ecosystem. Experience working with and enabling digital agencies or experience in a partnercentric role within CMS/SaaS platforms. Familiarity with opensource software business models. Familiarity with the benefits of localized cloud infrastructure, such as our Umbraco Data Center in Australia, established in August 2023.
