Or if you see an operator on the side of the road digging a trench, STOP and talk to him. This is all about building relationships and winning them over by selling up the brand of attachments as well as making quick, easy sales. This role will see you talking to anyone and everyone that uses earthmoving machinery. Step 2 Market expansion There are many large civil contractors throughout Melbourne; you will be tasked to not only maximise this market but also get ahead of customers and drive new equipment throughout the market. You will call on companies such as Delta Rent, Multiplex, CPB, Multiworks, Entracon Civil, Delcon, Vic Civil, Maxcon just to name a few civil companies. Then you can also target large earthmoving companies like Hitachi, Williams Adams, Komatsu, CJD, Porter Equipment, Tutts and many more. The customer portfolio for this role is massive and the opportunity to make exceptional commissions is fantastic. The Ideal Candidate You have sold trucks, earthmoving equipment, tractors, buses, container handlers or any related machinery. You must have external sales experience and the ability to coldcall new customers and win relationships from facetoface introductions. You must be willing to travel throughout all of Victoria. You are a proven salesman who enjoys winning new relationships and delivering excellent customer service. You have CRM database experience. You maintain a positive attitude, are a team player, and enjoy taking clients out for dinner. Salary Package In this role, its all about progression. What you start on is only the starting point.
