We are currently looking for a Diet Aide to join our team at the Chris O''Brien Lifehouse (situated within the RPA Hospital) in Camperdown. THE POSITION Communicate effectively with Dietitians, Nursing Staff, Speech Pathologists, Chefs, Catering Assistants, Managers and Team Leaders Order meals for patients with special dietary requirements using Menu Management Software Supervise plating line and perform final accuracy check of patient meal trays Order patient meals to align with Meal Plans and documented patient information, in consideration of age, allergies, preferences/dislikes, special dietary requirements and prescribed meal plans THE PERSON Display a positive attitude to daily challenges, willingness and flexibility to meet the needs of changing priorities and a resilient nature Has experience and is competent with using computers An excellent eye for detail and time management A sound knowledge in food and/or nutrition preferred Personable, a team player who has exceptional communication skills NPC National Police Check holder (or be willing to obtain this) WWCC Working With Children Check (or be willing to obtain this) THE BENEFITS Training provided Work within a team who enjoy providing excellent service Opportunities for internal transfer and promotion Immediate access to 100+ retail discounts Its not just a job, you get to play a part in making a difference to those who need it most #J-18808-Ljbffr
