Ascot Group is seeking experienced Carpenters to join our team in Adelaide. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, and repairing various wooden structures, fixtures, and fittings. Our carpenter roles are full-time positions that offer the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects working around Greater Adelaide.What youll be doing:Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirementsMeasure, cut, and assemble wooden components to construct structures such as walls, floors, roofs, and staircasesIdeally has plastering skillsInstall and repair cabinets, shelves, doors, windows, and other wooden fixturesOperate power tools and hand tools safely and effectively to complete tasksCollaborate with other tradespeople, such as electricians and plumbers, to ensure seamless project coordinationMaintain a clean and organised work environment, adhering to all safety protocolsWhat were looking for:Proven experience as a Carpenter, with a minimum of 3-5 years of handson experience in the industry, preferably in commercial workCarpentry qualificationStrong technical skills in reading blueprints, measuring, cutting, and assembling wooden componentsProficiency in the use of power tools and hand tools, with a focus on safetyExcellent problemsolving and critical thinking skills to address challenges on the jobAbility to work effectively as part of a team and communicate effectively with other tradespeopleCommitment to maintaining a clean and organised work environmentValid drivers licence and reliable transportationWhat we offer:Work life balance.
