Your role at St John of God Subiaco Hospital St John of God Subiaco Hospital is seeking a highly organised and competent Patient Theatre Bookings Officer to join our Patient Services Admission team on a full-time basis. In this role, you will support a high performing admissions service, by being the first line of support to team members in ensuring the overall integrity, accuracy and timeliness of all patient admissions and theatre bookings, while providing a personalised admissions service. The Position Undertakes validation and quality control of all theatre bookings and liaise with theatre regarding theatre lists. Coordinate theatre bookings and related activities. Prints and distributes daily theatre lists and reports as required. Process surgical bookings in Webpas from theatre lists received via doctors rooms. Follow up missing consents day prior to admission. Monitor inbox and file theatre lists accordingly. Facilitate all aspects of bookings cancellations and rescheduling and inform preadmissions clerical team. Assist with conducting routine quality audits. Liaise with patients, doctors rooms and other key stakeholders. Act as a role model, facilitating a spirit of teamwork and collegial support, ensuring a high level of patient centricity. Support team members, sharing knowledge in an open and supportive manner for the benefit and knowledge development of all members of the team. Qualifications & Experience You will bring a strong understanding of theatre procedures along with experience in admissions or administration. Your welldeveloped communication and interpersonal skills will enable you to deliver exceptional customer service, supported by excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry. To succeed in this role, you will have solid organisational and planning abilities, confidently managing priorities in a fastpaced environment. Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and webPAS, along with a general understanding of document management, will support your daytoday effectiveness.
