Job Description About the Role Join TOMRAs mission to transform recycling through smart technology. As an Electrical Field Technician, youll be responsible for maintaining, servicing, and repairing our pioneering Reverse Vending Machines (RVMs) and bulk processing equipment across Warrnambool and surrounding areas. This handson role focuses on conveyors, sensors, motors, mobile communications, and other electromechanical systems. Youll be on the road daily, so a clean driving record and a passion for travel are essential. Overnight travel is required for this role. This is a highly autonomous position ideal for someone who enjoys working independently and takes initiative. The role operates on a rotating 7day roster, including weekends. As part of the background process, a good driver history report, police check and preemployment medical including a drug and alcohol screen will be required. Key responsibilities include: Servicing and maintaining installed equipment Reporting on service assignments and faults Installing kiosks and bulk processing systems at new sites Providing excellent customer service to partners and the public Identifying and reporting product improvement opportunities Performing routine cleaning and upkeep of equipment Qualifications To succeed in this role, youll bring: Certificate III in Electrical/Electronic Trade or DisconnectReconnect licence Experience with operating systems, software installation, networking, and mobile telecommunications Strong diagnostic and analytical skills across mechanical, electrical, and electronic systems Proven ability to troubleshoot and replace circuit boards, sensors, and electronic components Previous customerfacing experience Unrestricted drivers license and willingness to provide a full driving history Availability to work across a rotating 7day roster, including weekends and overnight travel Additional Information Whats in it for you?
