This Opportunity As the HSEQ Superintendent for our Vessel Services team in Australia you will provide operational support to the HSE Lead across the Australian vessel fleet, ensuring that health, safety, and environmental risks are proactively identified, effectively managed, and fully compliant with company, client, and regulatory requirements. You will play a critical role in fostering a high-performing safety culture by embedding strong HSE behaviours across all levels of the fleet and ensuring that HSE considerations are consistently integrated into operational planning and decision-making. This role is based at our Perth headquarters overlooking the beautiful Elizabeth Quay. Qualifications Former or current maritime qualification (e.g., Chief Mate or Second Mate Essential Experience Experience conducting or participating in internal/external audits (e.g., ISM, ISO, Flag State Inspections, Port State Control). Ability to assist in investigations and ensure effective corrective and preventative action. Skilled in root cause analysis (e.g., ICAM, TapRoot, or equivalent). What do we need from you? A team-orientated, hard-working, enthusiastic mind-set. Self-motivated ability to interpret what is required and actively undertake tasks with supervision. Have a genuine desire to develop competencies both project engineering and cost estimating, within the offshore industry. Be detail focused with high standards in quality of own work. Effective verbal and written communication skills, including excellent writing skills. Exhibit strong teamwork skills displaying a well-developed initiative to be proactive. Initiate action and adapt to change. Ability to prioritise work and deliver work in a timely manner. Ability to communicate to clients in a professional and respectful manner.
