As a Sheet Metal Worker with Northeast Engineering your primary focus is to fabricate, assemble, and produce highquality toolboxes and custom sheet metal products according to customer specifications, ensuring precision, durability, and adherence to production schedules and quality standards.About The RoleFabricating a variety of sheet metal components and products using press break, guillotine, cutting, bending, and TIG welding.Reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications to ensure accurate fabrication.Operating a range of sheet metal machinery and equipment, such as brake press and welding machines.Manufacturing various types of toolboxes in different sizes and custom designs using 2mm sheet metal.Loading and unloading material and product with an overhead crane.Performing machine maintenance daily, weekly, and monthly.Maintaining a clean and safe working area (housekeeping).About YouSheet metal fabricator / welder qualification.Minimum 2 years experience.Experience in CNC break press operation.Strong knowledge of sheet metal fabrication.Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical documents.Attention to detail and high level of precision.Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.Strong problemsolving and troubleshooting skills.Proficiency in using measuring tools for quality control.About UsEstablished in 1978, the Northeast Auto Group is a national awardwinning automotive retail and service organisation employing 600 people in South Australia, Victoria, Queensland, New South Wales and Northern Territory.
