Key responsibilities include: Performing machine maintenance, including component change-outs and overhauls Fault finding and diagnostics across heavy mobile plant Preventative maintenance servicing, inspections, and refuelling Executing planned and breakdown repairs safely, efficiently, and within scheduled timeframes Working both autonomously and collaboratively within a high-performing team Maintaining strict compliance with site procedures, safety standards, and maintenance systems About You: To be successful in this role, you will have: Trade qualification as a Heavy Duty Diesel Fitter or Plant Mechanic Demonstrated post-trade mining experience Experience maintaining heavy earthmoving equipment Current Coal Board Medical and Standard 11 (or willingness to obtain) Current Queensland Driver Licence Strong commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and team collaboration About Your New Company MacKellar Group has partnered with Middlemount Coal since 2015, providing a large equipment hire fleet with full maintenance services at the Middlemount Mine site.
