We''re looking for a motivated and reliable team member to join our Vegetation Works Team, helping keep The Hills Shires parks, gardens, reserves and sports fields looking their best. As a Parks & Gardens Labourer, youll play an important hands on role in maintaining the spaces our community uses every day. Youll work as part of a supportive team using a variety of mowing, cleaning, chemical handling and grounds maintenance techniques to keep our environment safe, tidy and welcoming. What This Role Looks Like Maintaining parks, sportsgrounds, open spaces and public amenities Carrying out daily maintenance checks on plant and equipment Operating mowers, blowers, brush cutters, spray equipment and other machinery Responding to reactive maintenance requests Assisting with materials delivery Assist in the delivery of programs and activities. Applying chemicals safely in line with procedures Helping upkeep and improve Councils infrastructure What We Are Seeking In Our New Team Member Drivers Licence (Class C) White Card - General Construction Induction Benefits Of Working With Us A salary from $66,794 to $69,932 per annum + 12% superannuation (paid weekly) + Overtime and an opportunity to earn annual organisational bonuses up to $2,000 and 2% of base annual salary.
