About the Role To be successful in this role you will have previous experience working in large consulting firms where providing the right advice, managing projects, and sticking to budgets is just a way of life. Your day-to-day will include designing electronic cybersecure security systems (cameras, card readers), advisory work (risk assessments, market scans of products, strategizing), and report writing. What You''ll Do Collaborate with direct/indirect (multidisciplinary) colleagues and external stakeholders to deliver great outcomes for clients. Provide specialist security advice across electronic, physical and operational/management security. Produce drawings, specifications, calculations, schedules and design reports during all project design phases for integrated security systems. Camera modelling via advanced simulation software. Coordinate security system design with relevant engineering disciplines (ICT, Electrical, Architecture). Provide physical security advice across building construction elements (doors, ironmongery, walls, partitions, building shell, glazing), fencing/perimeter protection, blast protection, active and passive vehicle barriers, security lighting, site selection security criteria, and user journeys and security touchpoints. Deliver security risk management and strategy consulting services, including security, threat and vulnerability risk assessments, facilitating security risk workshops, CPTED assessments, crowded places assessments, hostile vehicle mitigation strategies, and security master plans. About You Proficient in commercialgrade building security system design and designing to industryspecific security requirements for all building and transport projects. Capable of designing security systems as part of an integrated and converged network in coordination with the ICT engineer. Security consulting license and thorough knowledge of relevant security standards/codes. Previous consulting experience and experience on Australian security and/or ICT projects. Wellversed with providing security advisory services and technical design. Sound understanding of riskled security consulting and solutions based on ISO31000 and HB1157. History of writing wellstructured and clear design and advisory reports. Skilled in monitoring latest trends in physical and cyber security and enabling clients to be futureready.
