We are seekingan experiencedCatering Assistant / Kitchen Handto join our team at an Aged Care facility in Chirnside Park. This is a hands-on position requiring you toassist with the preparation and serving of mealsin a fast paced kitchen for our valued elderly residents. We are able to provide you with a great work/life balance with breakfast shifts from 6.15am to 2.30pm and/or afternoon shifts from 3.30pm to 8.00pm. Overall Purpose of the Position To assist with the preparation and serving of meals, maintaining consistently high standards of service and exceeding customer expectations at all times Position Responsibilities General cleaning duties within the kitchen and food preparation areas To assist the Chef as required To assist with serving meals for breakfast, morning tea, lunch,afternoon tea and/or dinner as well as supper To adhere to all special dietary requirements including vegetarian, allergies/intolerances, supplements and texture modified diets. To perform all food handling tasks in accordance with the procedures outlined in the Food Safety Program Roster Part Time or Casual:6.15am to 2.30pm; Friday Part Time or Casual:3.30pm to 8.00pm; Wednesday, Saturday & Sunday Essential Criteria Previous experience in a similarCatering Assistant / Kitchen Handrole within a commercial kitchen Excellent written and verbal communication ability Strong organisational and planning skills High level attention to detail Effective time management and prioritisation skills Current National Police Check (less than 3 years old) Current Flu Vaccination Covid-19 Vaccination (including 3rd booster dose) To Apply Please send your resume and cover letter by clicking the "Apply for this job" tab
